J-Chat sessions are held on the 3rd Friday of each month from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and consist of a short language lesson for beginning and intermediate speakers, followed by small breakout groups of program participants facilitated by Japanese-speaking volunteers. Small groups are assigned based on skill level (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
