Japanese language lesson for beginner and intermediate Japanese conversational learners by Dr. Lisa Hofmann-Kuroda as part of the monthly J-Chat virtual conversational Japanese language exchange program of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC/the Center), sponsored by the JET Alumni Association of Northern California (JETAANC). J-Chat sessions are held on the 3rd Friday of each month from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and consist of a short language lesson for beginning and intermediate speakers, followed by small breakout groups of program participants facilitated by Japanese-speaking volunteers. Small groups are assigned based on skill level (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). Lesson slides are provided in advance of each session, and session recordings are provided Registration fees: $3 Center members, $5 general public, free registration for volunteer facilitators and JETAANC members with promo code.
