We will be learning how to make a set of three varieties of ohagi, steamed mochi treats with sweet bean paste, called sanshoku ohagi, as well as sakuramochi. The sanshoku ohagi includes one variety coated with kinako, roasted soy bean flour, and the other with aonori, powdered seaweed. The third variety of sanshoku ohagi has sweet bean paste on the outside covering the steamed mochi rice. Sakuramochi is made from steamed mochi with sweet bean filling wrapped in a salted cherry leaf.

Easy to follow recipes for the workshop will be provided in advance to all registrants. The workshop will be recorded and made available for registrants following the live session.
