Nikkei Youth Cultural Heritage ProgramThe Nikkei Youth Cultural Heritage Program, in cooperation with the Kobe YMCA Language Program (Hyogo Prefecture, Japan) is designed for participants to gain a better understanding of their cultural heritage and discover Japan in a unique and exciting way. This Program will allow participants to immerse themselves in Japanese culture through Japanese language and writing classes; attend introductory classes in traditional Japanese art forms; late afternoon and Saturday excursions exploring different parts of the Kansai region; all while having the opportunity to use and practice their Japanese language skills on a daily basis with their homestay family.more... Nikkei Youth Sports Scholarship (NYSS)The Nikkei Youth Sports Scholarship (NYSS) is as an avenue whereby the JCCCNC can help develop future leaders of our community by providing financial aid for graduating high school senior students who plan on attending a community college or university. to keep our youth active, thinking and driven to encourage growth
in more ways than one. In addition to ongoing classes, JCCCNC
hosts art,

camps during spring, summer and winter breaks. Students learn a
new set of skills through cooperation and teamwork, and actively
create and discover in a fun and safe environment.
