Introduction to Temari Workshop

Temari balls are a 1,000 year-old traditional Japanese folk craft of stitching intricate artistic and geometric designs onto an ornamental cloth ball. Our workshop will include a history of the craft, traditional materials, anatomy of a temari ball, as well as instruction in stitching vocabulary and techniques. Workshop participants will receive a starter kit and additional instructions.
