Chorale May
About the Organization
Chorale May is an all male choral group, established in 1997. Named
after their first choral leader, May Murakami Ino, the group sings
exclusively Japanese songs. Currently the group has about 8 members
and is led by Sanae Tanaka, a professional pianist and professional
singer.
The group meets twice a month at the JCCCNC.
Chorale May is always looking for new members. If you are interested
in joining or would like more information, please contact George

J-Sei
About the Organization
J-Sei is a multicultural and multi-generational organzation that has its roots in Nikkei values and culture. They are proud of their history of providing care and assistance to seniors, and now have expanded their services and programs to includes families and younger generations.

About the Organization
Japanese Newcomer Services provide bilingual/bicultural community services in the social, educational, medical and legal areas to Japanese newcomers individually or as a group, serve as a liaison between the Japanese newcomer community and the existing local, state and federal institutions, and provide indirect services in the form of programs and activities to help primarily Japanese adjusting to the new lifestyle in American society and serve as a bridge between Japanese newcomers and other members of the community, in particular Japanese Americans.
Nobiru-kai is also a tenant organization of the JCCCNC.

San Francisco Kendo Dojo

Practice: Thursdays, 7:00-9:30pm at JCCCNC
About the Organization
Kendo means the way of the sword in Japanese. It refers to the
art of traditional Japanese fencing that was originally developed
and practiced by Bushi or Samurai.
